Tim Carter’s self-produced project Bang Bang presents the listener with some of the best American music to come along in quite a while. He provides a masterfully created blend of music from Irish to blues. The music will capture your heart and soul as you read the liner notes providing insight to the origins of the songs. The banjo and Dobro lullaby Vassillie’s Lullaby is a unique duet with Rob Ickes. Tim is also assisted on the project by some of the most celebrated names in bluegrass and acoustic music today including Alison Brown, Casey Driessen, Matt Flinner, Jim Hurst, Tim O’Brien and Tim Stafford. This is Tim’s first solo project and I hope it won’t be his last.
