New Radio Show to Include European Artists

Ernie & Debi WFCF 88.5 FMThe renowned duo and current hosts of the “Sunday Afternoon Breakdown” on WFCF 88.5 FM in St. Augustine, FL will be airing a new radio show that will broadcast over the Internet on the WWB in the coming weeks. “We are a charting station based out of Florida, not to mention the largest college radio station in the US but want to reach more people”. says Ernie. “Our recent trip to IBMA this year opened our eyes as to how many talented European artists there are and we had no interaction with them”. “They make a strong effort and have an unbelievable passion and appreciation for bluegrass music”. “Can you imagine what commitment it would take to start a European native folk band or hold an event featuring the music in the US”? This is an opportunity for us to help share some of the great music coming out of Europe and give them a chance to hear more bluegrass from he US to start their day off right”. “After all, they are all part of our bluegrass family”.

Work is already under way pulling programming together for an international Morning Show that will bring Europe and the US together for music enthusiast in both continents. Programing will feature music, live interviews and keep listeners informed on what’s happening, what’s new and events to come. “This is going to be a great venture and we would like you to come and “Experience Bluegrass With Us” on the World Wide Bluegrass network” says Debi Evans. “We have access to may domestic entertainers and events but are collecting information on events and material from European artist, promoters and agents to help expose them to the US market. We will be airing in a few weeks so don’t wait, please respond ASAP”.

    Saw you tonight in Hahira. Sat on front row but could not come shake and howdy becasue we had our grandson who will be one year old this next Wed. on Veterans Day. Just all I could do to see to him. You all did a great show. Ernie I hope that you could get us another Bluegrass Festaivl going here in South GA. We miss Ocilla. Our best to you both.
