Phil Leadbetter announced he will be joining forces for a short term deal with mandolin/vocalist Don Rigsby, guitarist/vocalist Richard Bennett and son Matt Leadbetter on bass/vocals to form a new band. They will call themselves Rigbsy, Leadbetter and Bennett.

Don will continue to have his own band Midnight Call, and Matt will continue to be a member of the band Brand New Strings. This will be a side project for us all. Richard, Don, and Phil worked together as J.D Crowe’s Newsouth.

According to Phil he is planning on starting his own band in 2011.
