The museum has been gifted with a Weber Bitterroot F Style Mandolin valued at $2,999.00 to sell at auction. Weber’s generous donation to the museum is in support of both our Monroe-Style Mandolin Camp and ROMP. It has a particularly fine tone, strong and melodic. This is one of the best instruments we’ve been given and will undoubtedly age well. To view it, go to their website, www.soundtoearth.com.gabrielle@bluegrassmuseum.org
Dr. Richard “Richie” Brown (The Reunion Band, Boston and Associate Director of the Monroe-Style Mandolin Camp) was enjoying playing it at our booth at
IBMA. While he was testing it out, we received an opening bid of $1,000.
